I have done all this downloaded the suggetsed file and installed it where instructed and still get this mesage |

Yes this is a known issue which will be 'outbuilt' in the plugin revision due in the next few months.
The work around now that this key http://www.wingate.com/downloads/000B3F27.key has been saved to your:
C:\Program Files\WinGate\Plugins\Kaspersky AntiVirus\
directory is to delete any old keys but NOT the KASKPERSKY.KEY or the plugin will be disabled.
In some instances the old registration keys are 'parsed' as out of date so the message appears.
One instance has four keys and no report, also it is only with WinXP, whilst Win2k and Win2k3 seem unaffected.
